For over 10 years, Synthetic Turf of Illinois has been installing the finest putting and playing surfaces for both the residential and commercial markets. In 2000, owner Doug Steeves looked to carve out an exclusive niche in the golf market of Illinois by installing artificial putting greens and practice areas and created Custom Greens, Inc. After just a few years and many significant advancement in turf technology, Custom Greens, Inc. became Synthetic Turf of Illinois in 2004. Doug comes from a landscape and golf background and has the knowledge and skill it takes to design and build everything from a complete commercial golf practice facility down to the small dog run.
Synthetic Turf of Illinois now offers turf for every application including baseball, bocce, football, paintball, soccer and tennis, lawn and landscape, pets and of course, golf. Synthetic Turf is a design/build company for both residential and commercial customers alike. The installers at Synthetic Turf are true craftsman and take great pride in ever installation they complete. Every installation carries a warranty and we stand behind every installation no matter how big or small. Doug himself has completed installations for numerous high profile clients, cities, municipalities, golf professionals, NFL stadiums, collegiate and high school baseball and numerous golf projects.
