Putting Green Synthetic Turf

The type of turf appropriate for your green depends on the length of shots you'll be hitting. We'll work with you to choose a turf appropriate for your playing needs and for the dimensions of your space.

Polypropylene turf

If you'll be hitting shots longer than 30 yards, we recommend our Polypropylene turf, designed and developed to receive shots from a longer distance. Another word for plastic, Polypropylene fibers do not have memory built into them. Because they can not stand up by themselves, they require as much as 7-12 pounds. of fine silica sand per square foot perform well. As you can appreciate, this amount of sand will blow, wash or shift, so like all sand-filled greens, these greens require some maintenance. They can be installed on aggregate or on concrete. With the right sand-fill, polypropylene provides an excellent surface for receiving long approach shots.

Nylon turf

If you'll be hitting shots 30 yards or shorter you will be best served by our Nylon turf, designed and developed specifically for putting and shorter chipping. Nylon putting surface has memory burned into it; therefore, the fibers stand up by themselves. A small amount of our exclusive ceramic top dressing can be added to speed up your green or to allow hitting of longer chips into your green. In most cases our exclusive nylon turf will not need any in-fill, as our roll out speed is 10 - 11 on the stimp meter. Nylon turf can be installed on both aggregate base and concrete base.

Fringe material:
Fringe lends a more realistic look to your green, and allows you to chip around your green without destroying your grass.
Bunkers:
A great addition where space allows, adding a bunker will improve your sand game and shave strokes from your handicap.
